Bereavement and Carer Support

Helpful advice

  • Tip one – Bereavement is about trying to accept what happened, learning to adjust to life without that person and finding a place to keep their memory alive while you try to get along as best you can. Keep friends and family close and keep talking to them about how you’re feeling.
  • Tip two – Many people find comfort from getting involved with a relevant charity through which they can use information or skills they have learnt from caring for the person who has died, to help others in their memory.
